Discovery Gaming Community

I've flown the Kusari CT for quite a long time. It has been my chosen ship for system and base development (in RP) and has done it's role quite well. Doing such work in the borderworlds so close to the Hispanic nations has left the poor ship with many scorches and burnholes to the point that Raikoke can no longer say it "has character". Having purchased the Ryuujin transport for not only trading but it's secondary role as a diplomatic ship, (expensive, for those not paying attention I repeat, expensive) I find myself with sig that no longer fits..........I need a new one.
If you can help me here are some details and aids:

I finally managed to beat Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts, so I'm too psyched for sleep right now. Figured I'd try making something to get the satisfaction to dissipate. Anyhow, this looked like an interesting request (and I might as well get the ball rolling for those who are actually good at this), so here we go:

Can you change the font colour for "Guild Master Raikoke" as it is there are a couple spots where it's hard on the eyes. Perhaps a green or green/blue colour may help in pulling the letters out of the background.

Sure thing, I'll have that done in a cinch. Things like this are infinitely more interesting than typing out math notes, after all.

EDIT: Here we are with a few minor modifications as well as hopefully enough colour to make the text a bit more distinguishable from the background, and darkening the shadow around the name to perhaps add to that as well.



Here's the new coding for it. I'm including everything in case I'm unavailable for an extended period of time. (Gosh, that sounded a bit egotistical. Not my intention, but I'm too lazy to spend more than a few moments pondering which words would be most suitable.)

Again, just let me know if you want anything else changed or if it's too horrid as-is to be suitable.

Finally, maybe adding the amount offered as a reward in the title would attract more attempts? After all, the minimum posted is already quite a large sum. (It doesn't apply for me, but I assume that most of those who frequent these boards still do play Discovery from time to time.) In general, people are lazy on the internet and do not spend much time in things that they do not immediately see as offering something to them, whether it's a laugh or an actual reward such as applies here.

Psychology has its merits.

Anyhow, back to mathematics now.

I'm gonna give this one more quick bump to see if any of the artists are online and are willing now. I am thankful, though, that if my choices are limited it started with one of qualtiy.

Just for an experiment I made this one, so don't expect it to be as good as Overload's.

Thanks for the reply and your submission ed_phillips, for an experiment and possibly first try you are on the quick road of getting good at it. Please keep it up and maybe even start a sig shop yourself. I'm gonna go with the one Oveload made, though. He made a pretty good one for "getting the ball rolling" maybe too good and scared the competition away heheh.

Ed, you're signitures look too bright... Why don't you try to use some deep bloom on them? It makes them look better in my opinion. (This is constructive critisism.)

Glad you like it, I guess? I was kind of hoping more people would try, though. I very much enjoy simply looking at others' pieces, generally speaking. If what I made suits your wants, though, I'm not complaining.:P

(I was a bit lost when I logged on today and saw that the forums in their entirety had been shifted about somewhat, but it wasn't that hard to reacquaint myself with the more interesting forums.)
