We come here to relax. We come here to roleplay. But then why should a Game turn into a second Job?

Mkay, so, I dont trade, I got lots of money, I pie-rat and i know how others feel. There has to be a small understanding here.

You dont have to be a genious to understand it does take a while to get from your starflyer up to a Camara. From a cam to a trans and from a trans to a train.

You get assaulted by pie-rats on every lane, more or less and new people, who seek rp simply tend to get fed up and leave, because 80% of your game time you are running around, little to none Rp involved, trading to buy a ship you want to rp in.

To set up a frigging Kingfisher you need allmost 30 million credits.

Most of us are here for RP, not grinding the same trading routes over and over.

My suggestions:

Cut the price of items by half. (maybe except for capital ships)

Give players more possibilities to earn money like for example npc hunting. (slaver id's would have a use then)

Up the price on missions

Up the trading sum.

I know grinding and leveling up so to speak is a core gameplay part but people tend to lose more to pirates right now than they earn.
I suppose it would be easier to do that than to change the "2millrdai" mentality that some people have into a "1millforallofus2splitrdai!" mentality. However, I would keep battleships and other capital ships at their current price, to stop the lolBS spam which could result.

Lolbs spam would be countered by lolbomberspam, since it wouldnt need 40mil to set one up.
no thanks, spam vs spam turns it into PVP server. If i wanted PVP server I'ld just go out drunk and fight. But one thing is totally doable. Put that damn CD back on Mule and other simmilar small ships. send guys like that out to pirate.:D
-Deleted because I was drunk while I wrote it-

LOLBS Spam IS CONSTANT dispite price, because a loltrader will grind for etenrnity, While an RPer will not
Elsdragon, take a look at what you wrote and please consider editing it, for your own soul's sake.

I agree with Sindroms, this game is turning into work. I /sign you good sir.

Perhaps just reduce the price of trade ships? That would reduce the grind-time that has to be put in so that you can grind more effectively and thus get the ship that you want.

That way, setting up a trader in order to support a variety of other, more interesting (and more RP-able), characters would be quicker.

Just my thoughts...
I think they are far to cheap now and if we increase the prices people will think twice before buying a new ship. If you don't wanna get pirated hire escorts, RP with them. That's the problem with some people they want it all on a plate, best ships best armors best weapons.
Game isn't work!
If you think that trading is only overcoming an obstacle so you can bask in a glory of a capship i don't think you deserve to have it easy.

Instead of selfish approach why not take the group one and form bit more of those frikkin trade corps. Because, the way i see it.. IND looks good. Bowex isn't complaining... :j: as well.
Oh what wait? That requires some dedication? oh ya, just give me ingame name and I'll wire you all my cash.
Make Capital ship Faction Approved only.

So you have to talk to the Factions that own the ships to get one.

Then you can make trading easier and reduce Cap Spam.
