when I click multiplayer>internet, it says connecting to global server. After that I let it sit for like 10 minutes and it doesn't do anything. As far as I know, I have allowed it to go through EVERY firewall I have. Is it possible I need like a patch or something? Please help...
Well, First off have you DL the lates Version of Discovery?, second have you activated any other mods in MM?, what type of connection do you have maybe its unstable?
I do have the latest discovery mod, and no other mods activated. The program just won't connect to the "global server" Meh.....and if you say unstable, My cable sucks, but it's somewhat stable. It just that something doesnt' want FL to connect to the internet or something, but not the firewalls that I know of
If it won't connect to global server, it's not related to Discovery mod or any other mods. Problem is your firewall. Or firewalls?

It's unsafe to have more than one firewall. I suggest that you remove all except one and try to mess with its configuration. It may work. Or just try to disable them all for a while and see what happens. Most probably it's a firewall problem.
Or it might be that you dont have the actual CD and are using a crack.

It's not the crack, I tried on my other comp, it works. I disabled all my firewalls I know of and it still doesn't work -.-.....
My computer hates me -.-
Could you have missed a Firewall?, since you have more than 1, just hope you dont have to wipe windows to play on Discovery :unsure:
I'm pretty sure I only have 2 running -,- I'll ask my older brother....Or maybe I'll try allowing port # instead of program for FL
