Oh right.
Don't rush for a cap ship. Flying the smaller ones is much more fun, and you don't die as fast in a small ship as in a big ship (except you have epic fubar lag, then you can forget PvP at it's best times i heard).

Right, have fun. If you wish to get a trade ship, i can recommend RepEx or APM. Both will give you one. Or go for Kishiro.
