Okay, I've set up the server list to where it SHOULD work, from what I've been told, and I can see the servers, but when I try to connect, it just gives me the usual "could not connect" message. It's like it doesn't even try. It just automatically shows that message. Could somebody tell me what I might be doing wrong here?

Firewalls? Anything blocking it your end?

Network shield of an anti-virus is a common cause...

Post your Windows version and your anti-virus program. I guess firewall should be fine if it shows the servers, but check that too, that can't hurt ...
