Just the standard hello. I haven't played Freelancer online before (though I did finish the SP) and after only one trade run I found the Discovery server to be quite fun.

I just want to say sorry to the nice freelancer who was escorting me to New London when I disconnected (my internet connection can be unreliable). I'll buy you that beer another time! :)

Also I extend my commiserations to Ecko, who got mugged in California on the lane between Planet Mojave and the New York gate.

And finally I want to thank Masked_Marauder for saving me from those Mollys in Manchester! :D
Welcome to Disco!:yahoo:

Enjoy your stay.

Welcome to Discovery, prepare to be under the influence of strange AI police officers, testicle Nomads, swashbuckling and doped up pirates and the occasional angry trader.

If you need any help, when in-game fine [The_Angels], if not in game, ask me or well anyone here. ;)

Discovery is a wild and wacky world, but it is fun :)
Aye aye, Fletcher is a good un' for helping folks.
If ya can't get ahold of him, try my skype or pm me. Sometimes I can be helpful:)
Well I'll certainly say that all the pilots I've encountered so far have been incredibly nice.

I do have a question about factions and such though, especially those that offer you a ship when you join. How does that work? I didn't think you could trade ships in this game.

They'd likely give you money to buy a ship and help you do missions to set your reputation accordingly. Either that, or sell you a ship via the ship sales section in the forum. Its tricky, but doable.

More than likely you'll be given money to buy the faction ship.

How does it work? Trading ships you mean? There's a command called /movechar we use.
Person-1: /set movecharcode <code>
Person-2: /movechar Person-1 <code>
I like your style.

Basicly, i advise reading the rules, and joining a faction.
Oy, and what's wrong with Mollie?
HMMM? You got summat against us, buddy?

...

And, seriously, read the rules.
Don't let other people dictate your roleplay.
Have fun, be zany, pirate some lolminers.
