as i understand, caps are not allowed to pirate as no trader/smuggler have a god darn chance against them (even if you wanna run your in "death zone" due to gunrange)
so.... i want ADMINZ, to say it.... not quote rules, but SAY IT...... why it can/cannot pirate another cap... and no, i dun wanna hear; its illogical for a warship to pirate another..... well irl pirates would use a cruiser and rape a battleship for money, cargo and women.... in FL its IMPOSSIBLE.... so, no we cant compare irl with FL in this matter

No, a Battleship cannot Pirate a Battleship as far as I know. No Capital Ship above Gunboat Class can act in Piracy, there already was a Sanction because of that. Search for "Bully".

Carrying unmounted IDs in your ship, as well as not equipping an ID, is a serious crime.
Who said a BS can't pirate? It can't attack transports, that's for sure. As far as I know it can freely pirate fighters, freighters, gunboats and capitals if it's ID allows it. Once I even witnessed such, it was great to watch.

I think if the Corsairs marshalled a Legate... they'd be up to more important things than pirating a Rheinland Battleship.
They don't just cruise around in Legates with the windows down, looking for somebody to pirate. It's a WARship, and they take it to war. Not to extort German admirals.

why exactly "pirate" battleship? Simply come with some nice RP idea why you need to kill it (like that its too ugly to leave alive) and be done with it.
