Ok this is my question, can win 7 x64 be installed on 32bit computer (processor) ?
No?
Built for different architecture.
That said, this is just conjecture:D
I've got the opposite running, not that that means anything.
I thought that maybe 64bit windows support 32bit within itself.
Are you 100% that it can`t ?
No, I'm not 100%, more like 90%.
Why do you want to? Just get 32 bit Windows.
Well I got in my hands win 7 x64, and have 32 bit laptop from a friend, well if it can`t I will download the x32 version, I just wanted to check if there is need for it;)Just to be sure
And thanks
At most you will only have an inoperative OS, so not much of a hassle to try it out.
You should not have any hadware-related problems. And i'm almost sure windows will check if you have an incompatible architecture.
It cannot be installed on a 32 bit system. The installer won't let you.
I tried, by accident
I purchased Windows 7, and in the box was a 32-bit disc, as well as a 64-bit disc. Just use the other disc.

You're assuming he's using a legal version, of course.

Why wouldn't you use a legal version? All of my Operating Systems are legal.
It's all about finding the right people to get the right price.
