Freelancer Account ID Generator

Hello Discovery!

Today is a momentous occasion. For today, you no longer have to create new Windows accounts to create a new FL account. I present to you, the Freelancer Account ID Generator!

Written by Cannon and improved by Kazinsal*, this baby creates new IDs and signatures for you and even saves them as an ADF to import into Freelancer Account Manager. And the best part is: it's open source and released into the public domain!

I know you're both dudes but...

I LOVE YOU!

EDIT: What the hell kind of version number is that?:D
Download link fixed. Should work now.

Bob: Love you too. And it's the date of the release in ISO 8601 format. /nerd
Love this is it.
And it's a teeny filesize too! ;D

You should of been cool and made it Version 1.337

Seems to work fine, thanks guys!
Question - does this contact the server when making a new account?

I'm just curious how exactly this works. I mean, what if it makes a 'random' account ID that happens to be the same as someone else's account ID on the server? That could cause some havoc, no? The odds of such a thing happening are quite low, with how long the freelancer multiplayer ID is, but it could happen...

Just wondering if there were steps taken when programming this that somehow prevent such multiplayer ID conflicts.

That info is in your shortcut.

edit: Nice I got tenacity's accounts...
Considering we theoretically have 2^128 accounts to work with (maybe less, me no know exactly), the chances of getting someone else's account is slim to none, leaning towards the "none". But if you're that worried about getting someone else's account, might as well grab a tin foil hat and blame the pseudo-randomness on the alien invaders.

Damn.. I should have bought a lottery ticket. It has happened twice for me. One time when I got the account from Jes who had generated it for me, and once when I used the old method of creating a new windows account to make a new FL account.
So that tin-foil hat ain't such a bad idea after all...

I would say only a very infinitesimal chance more than the normal way of making accounts.
Remember the New User way is still randomly generated.
