Would it be possible to give the original posters of topics moderation or post deletion powers within their respective threads in the Communication Channel and Message Dump sections of the board?

That would take a lot of work off of the moderators' hands when it comes to "hacking" and "intercepting" transmissions, etc.

I don't think it's possible with forum mechanics.

You are either a mod for a paticular forum or not.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

If only...then alot of things that go to hell can be *press* *delete*

I know you can be a mod for all of your threads, but I'm not sure if it can be done only for some sections.

It should be able to be done, since Cawdor is only the moderator for a specific sub-forum.
