If there's a particular faction you'd like to join, feel free to either look them up in the faction status post, or just pick up a ship/ID/IFF of that group and play as an independent for a bit.
I hope you stay and enjoy things, I'm sure someone will come along and provide all sorts of rule links for you, but I'll get you started with this, read them over and simply ask someone if you've any problems. My skype's in my profile as well if you want it.

First of all, You did one of the best 'First moves', which was playing vanilla. That gives you a nice perspective about Disco Storyline and all, but still, Vanilla ended in 801 A.S, we are now in 818 A.S, I think it'll be good if you look up the Disco History line on Wiki, and other than that, I like your name and Welcome!:P
Also, Check these Links, They might come in Handy;
And when In Game, Look for those nice guys around with [The_Angel] Tag, They sure know how to help you out.
Also, you might like to spend some time reading our Role-Playing Hub And even decide to join in! Remember, Server Roleplay comes first, but then, there is Forum Roleplay, which can be really enjoyable if you are the 'Writer' type!
