.
.
To start...

.
.
.
The feature can be accessed via stations that contain the word "Shipyard" in their name, as well as New Haven in Connecticut. Dock with any of these stations and go to the Ship Dealer, you will see green text stating "Pimp-my-ship facilities are available here."

.
.
Code:
/showsetup

.
.
Shows your ship's light setup in a numbered list. You can change any of the lights on this list.

.
.
Code:
/showitems

.
.
Prints the below list in the chat.
Be warned the list is long and the chat history does not go back far enough to show the entire list.

Please note that lights with "Large" in the name are unavailable for fighters, bombers, and freighters.

.
.
Code:
/setitem <location> <colour>

.
.
Changes the selected light location of your ship to the numbered colour.
As an example, to change light location 3 to FastMediumSkyBlue you would use: /setitem 3 273
In place of "273" you can also type in "FastMediumSkyBlue", example: /setitem 3 FastMediumSkyBlue

.
.
Code:
/setitem - <colour>

.
.
Changes all lights of your ship to the nominated colour.
As an example, to change all lights to FastMediumSkyBlue you would use: /setitem - 273
In place of "273" you can also type in "FastMediumSkyBlue", example: /setitem - FastMediumSkyBlue

.
.
Code:
/setitem <location1>-<location2> <colour>

.
.
Changes all lights in the range to the nominated colour.
As an example, to change all ranged lights to FastMediumSkyBlue you would use: /setitem 1-4 273
In place of "273" you can also type in "FastMediumSkyBlue", example: /setitem 1-4 FastMediumSkyBlue

.
.
.
$1,000 sc

.
.
.
For each light changed, regardless of which command you use from above to change them.

.
.
.
Log Out / In

.
.
.
Most times this is needed to ensure that the lights have been "applied" and show up correctly.

.

Just a quick question, not totally based on this topic, but about lights. Which lights can be switched off ? Docking lights only , or some running lights can be switched off with a "Lights On/Off" key ?
Finally I decided to do it myself quickly ^^ Hope it will be useful...

Sorry for the awkward shots, hopefully the list helps. Port = left side, starboard = right side. Referenced from looking towards the front of the ship if you're inside it.

I found the lighthardpoint pictures I made again; wonder why I had not found them before, they were not that well hidden...

They are quite outdated, having many now non-existent ship models among them, but I'll still post the albums here, in case any of them are somehow useful - and also for nostalgia's sake:

Unless Imgur goes down, I will try to not(/never) remove them.
And don't complain about the old ships also being in there. I just happened to have found them now and don't have the time to sort through them as I was doing something else. D:

EDIT:
Also...the tutorial picture:

Back then the forum didn't allow for such nice text formating, so I had made it into a crappy picture.
