ok anyways...im summing it up unofficially this time and i need opinions
this is my prototype idea:
Nuclear Laser(someone find a better name for me please)
100 hull dmg per hit
50 sheild dmg per hit
range 1000 m
speed 1000 m/s
energy cost per shot 500
refire rate 25.00
ok....this is my whole idea...this laser would have such ultimately massive power requirements that only bulky enourmous fighter craft like Mjolnir SHF,or spatial,or mafic or other shf could mount it (no nuke laser for bombers)
the power requirement would be so high that you could only power one of these nuke lasers for maybe 2 or 3 seconds max
so that way the weapon would be a more effective joust vs agile fighter weapon than say the razor
the weapon would have very very little rotational ability so that it would only be able to "wiggle" for aiming...
this would solve the problem of light fighters and heavy fighters being able to joust the shf and survive simply due to the enourmousness of the shf and its cannon spacing\
since the common lore is with the more agile craft to dodge around heavier craft...not to joust otherwise the smaller one will be blown up
this would help enforce that common sense wisdom
