Did you remember to reboot after having unticked IPv6 on the network adapter property page ?
After the reboot, check again that it is truely unticked.

Yeah i reboted, although i did start the game first just to check...
I'm gnna try it again and directly rebod after unticked it.
It still dosent work, although now, there is 199 players so that might be the problem...
I will give you an update soon ;D

do you have more than one computer using your connection? is so you will have to disable IPv6 on all vista/win7 machines for freelancer to wok, i had this issue, tho my main pc is win xp x64, my lap top is vista, dissabled IPv6 and was able to play fine:yahoo:
All the other computers in the house is running xp but as they belong to other members of my family i cant disable Ipv6 on them.
IPv6 only runs on vista and windows 7. anything below vista is Ipv4 which is fine.

Ok, that must mean that the problem isnt Ipv6...

I see you're running Vista. This problem is normally caused by your antivirus firewall on vista.
What is the name of your antivirus?
