Yes, i forgot about that Black Dragon VHF:)
It is the prettiest looking Kusari alike ship ever!
And i really hope it is going to be implemented, when the time is right.
Not because i'm in Hogosha (and i am:)) , but because more people might wanna join Hogosha.

@ chopper: What means sarkasm? The Black Dragon was formerly designed as a Blood Dragon VHF requested like the Togo Dreadnought.
There is simply no serious reason to replace the original Blood Dragon VHF. So it was turned into the Hogosha Fighter Black Dragon, !!!built by Samura!!!, to help the Hogosha in doing their "dirty" work.
For now this is not the place to dicuss about this model.

@ Gronath: I have already posted a background for the Gunship on page 2 or 3. The best fitting background imho.

@ all others: I will submit two versions to Igiss. A simple civilian one without any faction signs and a Unioner one. Then it will be his decision, if, when and how it will be implemented.

This is a solution you all can live with.

I personally don't like the look of this ship. I think that It should either be smaller and made into a bomber. If your going to make a Gunship/boat, made it more cap-ship like. This is just screaming bomber to me.

That was because some people are yelling that this Gunship should be Civilian.
I didn't know that it was originaly meant to be a Blood Dragon VHF.
I love that ship, and i couldn't agree more with you that it should be a Hogosha VHF.
I hope it gets the agility as Blood Dragon HF:P
And yes, i know the infocard. Hogosha is Samura's crushing hand, doing their dirty work.:)

Why not have two versions to sell, if AoM submitted two skins to Igiss? The stronger version would be the Unioner version, and the Civ version would be maybe missing a turret and some armor or something. Kinda like the Rheinland Pirate Cruiser is a weaker analogue to the Red Hessian Cruiser, but (as far as I know) basically just has a different skin. (haven't seen much of the former, though)

And to answer the complaints about why would anyone need a civ gunship, I think it's the largest class of ship that can be justified on the basis of needing a better escort craft than the Eagle through the hostile border worlds. Or perhaps for exploration in places that're just too dangerous for other craft to go. A couple of ideas...also, since AoM has made two skins, I'd hate to see either of them go to waste for this fabulous little ship.

In one way, it would help Corsair side. But that is not the reason to implement this one in a Civilian class.
Maybe next one? Maybe.
Idea for this is to be a Unioner ship. They are the ones that asked AoM to make it.
And i would love it much more because it is a Unioner ship.
I can also guarantee that only because of that ship, more people would join Unioner faction.

I probably fought harder than anyone for the Hessians not to get their own ships, even though they are one of my favorite factions.
Again:angry2:, making it civilian is NOT bad for the Unioners, in any way. All it does is make it possible for the rest of those poor little factions that rely on civ ships to fly a gunboat:rtfm:. Most of those little factions are on the Corsair side. I am trying to EVEN OUT THE PLAYING FIELD, and give Corsairs an advantage. If you want to just keep it Unioner, then all the other people (such as FA, Gaians, Etc) who want to use it will be grossly out of RP if they fly it. So much out of RP that it would be sanctionable.

I would rather not fly it as a Hogosha member, then to see every damn player from every damn faction flying it.
If Unioners get it, Corsairs can buy it.

If it is made Civilian, your not getting anything.
Yes, Hogosha could buy it, but they wouldn't.
Because, we want to fly pretty much the same ships, not 20 different.
So, make it a Unioner goddamn ship.

Thats compleat BS, most of the factions on the Outcast said fly ships from there allies. So don't give me that crap about it would be sanctionable because the Outcast side does it all the time, do Outcasts flying the Lane Hacker gunship get sanctioned? i think not. But that would be just the same as the Gians flying the Unioner gunship but hay thats not allowed now is it!?. Factions are allowed to fly any ship they want from there allies pretty much.

So can you explane it to us that are maybe a little slow? why its ok for the Outcasts and the Allies to fly the Lane Hacker gunship but its not going to be ok for the Gians or there allies to fly a Unioner ship? how is it not the same? because i must really be missing something here.

Oh and the only reason you fought so hard for not getting the Hessian ships is because you didn't like the look of them.

I must agree here it would be pretty weird to see a Gaian flying a Unioner Gunship.
I'v never seen a Hessian in a Rogue gunboat, or Lane hacker gunship.
But Outcasts yes.
So, Corsairs would be able to use it.
Or give the Gunship to Corsairs, and then all allies can use it:D
