ICMG[SL66A]Balkanite has been sanctioned for:

Quote:5.2 All attacks must be the result of some form of role play. "Engaging" is not sufficient. An attack is any hostile action that drains shields to less than 50%. Being hit with a CD is not considered an attack. If a player is attacked he has a right to defend himself regardless of who is attacking.

You do not jump into a piracy attempt guns blazing, without taking part in the roleplay beforehand.
If the pirate demands something from the trader with enough roleplay, the trader is allowed to start the shooting. RP was made and he has the right to defend himself. You as a bystander are not.

Consequences:
-Guns taken for your Gunboat
-Hold cleared and paperwork in place
