Every now and a gain, quite randomly it seems I get the following error

You don't have permission to access /forums/index.php on this server.

Its never anything specific, ill click a thread or try and reply or just go back a page.
Pretty anoying. I have to close my browser window compleatly and open it again to then be able to get back in.

That used to happen to me about a year ago...
Then I found out I had a malicious JavaScript constantly running.
(I HATE, DESPISE, and LOATHE bloody Adobe!)
It was trying to redirect to other sites, but it was being confounded by my AV.
I THINK the resulting overflow was causing problems with the forum 'watchdog' software.
Don't quote me on that, I'm so not an IT guy.

Maybe manually update your AV and scan your system?
Thats what worked for me.
Otherwise try changing your deodorant?

you could skip all that because that screen happens when the forums are overloaded with too many people. Just wander off for a few minutes when it happens
