I'm sure significant number of you have seen the recent TV series and some of you US citizens probably read all the comics long time ago... but I didn't.

Frustrated that this first season was so short, I simply had to find out what happens next so I torrent-downloaded all 79 issues (which is all to my knowledge). Didn't expect too much, didn't like the style of drawings at first (prefer an Italian old school) but the story is quite original and elaborated in detail, with a very interesting characters.... I'm really impressed how so used-up theme such a zombie apocalypse turned out to be this much fresh and intriguing. Can't stop reading, since last night I've covered almost 40 issues:)

Reading it on monitor really sucks, it's true, but scans are pretty damn good. Besides there's no way I can buy these comics here in this ****ty country of mine.

Anyway, just wanted to recommend you people some good, old-fashion entertainment.
Cheers.

P.S. Check out some of these covers...

I am compelled by instinct to reply to any thread that references the Walking Dead.

I was there when 'Watchmen' started its 12 month run & I watched the comic industry change in front of my eyes, so I'm old-school & I expect alot.

After watching the 1st ep of TWD, I got a hair up my pooper & collected all the issues as well. It took a few issues to get the hang of, but I quickly understood that the comic has very little to do with zombies & is really all about the survivors & how the destruction of society changes their very nature, forcing the question: "Are the living less human than the dead?"

I'm up to current on the issues & it's so well done that in my mind, it's second in quality only to 'The Sandman'
I have no particular preference in themes in comics, but I do appreciate quality art from experienced artists. This looks professional and skilfully drawn, I'd definitely give it a try if I ever come across one.
