Ok, ok, it is a bit late but 86 is like that nice girl you like who is late for the meeting but you know that she will come. So even if you get angry with her being late, you can remember her new traits and keep it up.

BlueSpawn had the dev-blog-ish idea and Frozen started to post stuff. Now I decided to post some stuff as well.


My work is complete for 86 already so I think I can give out some tiny tiny bits and pieces. I mainly worked on music soundtrack for 86. I also helped the design and story of Omicron Mu, Omicron Minor and did some SFX work regarding new Minor.


You can listen to these two new tracks from the upcoming mod.

One is from the Order related systems, a battle track.

Here is a miner's theme from one of the mining systems.

The Order track is... epic... really. Sounds Metal with the double-bassdrum, but still fits perfectly into Freelancer.

Gallia one is less Freelancerish, but is pretty damned awesome as well!

Absolutely love the prospect of new audio in the game, the Gallic track reminds me of In Flames and other bands of the genre though. Not that I mind.

The Order track seemed to make a sudden jump part way through, from a relative calm to full energy. Seemed a bit sudden but otherwise loved it.

Fighting in an Osiris, listening to thst track, willbe AWESOME!!!!

I feel like I just went through a RPG Isometric 3d game with poorly rendered graphics because it was designed to handle 8mb on board graphics.
