I was wondering if gunboats are going to get "mini mortars" in .86.

If it wasn't planned, could you tell me what do you think about this idea?

I thought about something with 50k hull damage, half that shields,
range 3k and speed of 750 m/s. Energy usage would be 300 or 400k.


Thoughts, comments?

How about some micro-mortars for transports?

Make SNACs mountable by gunboats and transports. S'not like those slower ships could murder fighter pilots with 'em anyhow.
