Trying to connect, downloaded everything, but everytime I try connect it says:
Request is taking longer than expected... yada...yada...yada...
And it wont let me enter... it goes into that annoying freeze...
I got right version etc.
Couple questions:
1: How fast is your internet?
2: Are you sure you were connecting to the Official Discovery Server?
3: How full was the server?
My internet is 8MB, ive run Disco though many times
I was connecting to 4.85 - Discovery RP 24/7 ive always connected to and played in...
Server: 100/200
Turned off your firewall, which antivirus you have?
Hmm, don't know any known problems with it.
Check the settings, if you find some HTTP checking, turn it off. That might be the cause of the problem.
Sometimes the brand computer you have can't work with discovery my old one did that

I highly, highly, hiiiiiiiiiiiiighly doubt it was the brand.
It was most likely a software issue or an issue with a specific component of the PC as opposed to the brand.
