So, basically there are several navigation software updates available across Sirius. They will add the position of some common jumpholes, wrecks and other interesting things.

Each navigation software upgrade (Explorer/Pirate/Mercenary/Military/Police/Custom/Civilian etc etc) will have a pre-set map in it. The custom one will act like the current one.

IE: You /restart in Kusari; your restart will allow you to start with the CSV, and the following Navigation Software;

Kusari CivTech Navigation Software v.0.7

Their price could range from 300.000 SC to 50.000.000 SC, and we can add even some rare models on some abbandoned wrecks, Experimental Navigation Software?

The idea is very basic, what do you think about this?
WUT?
you mean that buying the navigation thingy upgrade would grant the owner info about hidden jh and so on - it will just make the exploration useless right? IMO ... not that bad idea although with so small space like Sirius - it isn't THAT BIG - it is kinda not needed to add another thing here...but the idea for the lazy ones is good.

Actually it is quite sensible.
Lets you simply buy a map for new characters.

Though I would suggest that hidden jumpholes stay..hidden.
Commonly used smuggling ones could be found on a map on a junker base etc but jumpholes to places like the Xeno guard system wouldn't be included in it.

That.

I don't think it's needed.

Four reasons why.

ooRP resources:

We've got FLCompanion and the like for maps if we need be.

ooRP knowledge:

Most people know the map. Some know every single jump hole in the game. They wouldn't need to fork out for the map.

inRP resources:

Ships would, inRP, come with the entirety of the House's mapped and quite a lot of the border worlds mapped.

InRP knowledge:

Quite a few of player characters will already know quite a few of the systems. Especially those that live outside of the Houses.
We can also check the wiki for every single jump hole/gate from every system, these kind of things would be useful if that info wasn't available on the wiki.

Edit : We don't need it, it would just make more extra work for developers.
