How about a escort forum ? (No, i dont want to hire you for an hour to come back to my bed)
Kind of like the bounty board, but merely where traders (Lawfull and unlawfull) can post to hire them, how much they are paying, and for which routes etc.

And where escorts can post about beeing awailable for work, where they would like to fly, how much they would like to be paid, etc. etc.

Anyways, just an idea, and if i never shared it, how would i know if anyone else, has had the same idea, or if anyone thinks its a good one:)

It came to me actually.. Because when im on my lawfull trader and i ask for an escort, i get no response, people who charge way to much (Caus they are worth it probably) Or people who i can only use as scouts, and need to teach them how first.

And secondly, because when im smuggling stuff.. I cant exactly say, hey, come help me run slaves to malta, im at Niverton. Or well.. I could.. And it would make things fun.. But not so much for me:PHehe..

Anyways, the idea is out now, would love to get some feedback.
(You suck, it rocks, why didnt we think of that? Allready tryed, it failed, etc.)

if traders say their traderoute there and maybe also have their charname in the post pirates will use it for metagaming.

it would be better - I think - if escorts offer their services and say where they go and where not. Good point.

I think it's fine. Trader post gets seen by both a willing escort and willing pirate and tada, something to do.

True, posting the exact routes, might not be a good idea.
But posting a "general zone of interest" still narrows it down:)
And as one of the other guys said, this might spice things up.

Dont forget, most pirates can also escort smugglers, slavers and other pirates trading..

Plenty of adrenalin, while going through Liberty when theres 9 cap ships, 6 LSF agents and 3 EDGE Mercs patrolling everywhere, hehe;)

just go to penn and ask if anyone wants to make 2 million. get them to fly as a scout in front of you, and then you 1. get them out of lolberty, 2. take them on a road trip, 3. get a cheap escort 4. most peeps will think that YOU are the escort and that he is the trader....

Best way to do that is to hop on skype and start/find a chat for it. Factions like VPS have an "I need escort" chat specifically for that. Plus, skype is 100x faster than the forums, and it beeps at you.

Indeed since the forum is not connected "live" with the game this wont work.
Skype channels are better in general for such purposes.
