PVP in NY is switched off, due to certain people abusing it.
PvP in New York will, hopefully, soon be switched on after the administrators resolve the issues with those who abused it.

SO if PVP is switched off in NY then how did I get jumped by 20 people in my Cervaza Bendero character? I was just passing through and Bam. When I asked what was going on I heard nothing, the Admin that was on wouldn't even answer me.
All I can say is that if some sort of event is going to take place where you can get pounded by 20 people maybe it shouldn't happen in NY where it is supposed to be safe by the so called rules which apparently were not in affect or totally ignored today.

Well fine then, would someone kindly fix the rules:
5.1 PvP in New York is prohibited. In this system, players are not obliged to roleplay.
I don't enjoy being pounded when I am following the posted rules.
i Have turned it back on as a test,
but remember i can turn it off quicker
