When I post a thread or send a PM with a link, the forum seems to cut the link down if it's too long...

use the ["code] fuction

instead of just pasting your links in, use the [url= text[/url] function.

also, your link is fine most of the time when it gets shortened, it just looks truncated.

When you copy+paste a link and post it, it automatically puts [url] tags around the link. So it looks like this when you post it:


for whatever reason it decides to shorten the link, but click on it will open the url in a new tab or window. So does it really matter?
