Still trying to get used to the Nyx, I went out on a patrol in Tau 37. Upon entry in the system, I was immeditely attacked by an Outcast patrol, who I disposed of relatively quick. During this skirmish, I received orders from Lt.Hauser to evacuate the system, since it was about to go hot. I saw on my scanners the reason for this order. An Outcast battleship was in the near vicinity of the jumphole and it was escorted by two other ships, which I didn't manage to scan. One of them, however, had an enginesignature that suggested it was a Nomad. All three ships jumped moments after to Tau 23, and I decided to follow after a while. They didn't seem to be interested in Tau 23, but instead they kept going to Tau 31. I joined Lt. hauser at Java station and he briefed me on the current situation.

Suddenly an Outcast Tridente showed up on scanners heading towards the miners. Me and the Liutenant chased after him. He managed to single out one of the miners, and was clearly there to rob him. After a warning from Lt. Hauser, both of us opened fire at the gunship. We were starting to wear him down, when I had a "not-so-brilliant-idea". I tried to circle him slowly while firing at him. Unfortunately, he anticipated my moves, and destroyed my ship with his battle razors. Since a long time, I've been piloting nothing smaller than gunboats, and getting used to the fact that a fighter can't take much punishment is something to improve on.

Afterwards, when I returned to Falkland, I stepped into the mission room, and was greeted with my comrades brutal sense of humor. I was decorated with the "Bulls-eye"-medal. Basically a target board about 20 cm in diameter, and below it it said: Shoot me! I was told I had to wear it for the rest of the day. So I did! I really need to improve my fighting skills...

And all you need is just... well, looking at bigger guys move and duplicating. I saw you basically hug that trident and that's what killed you. Just next time zap around it instead of trying to aim. It's big enough for you not to need to.
