So far tried recordings from a OnLive trial, Global Agenda, Borderlands.
Settings: Gregion High Quality Compression, Full Screen and 30fps Reccordimg
All 3 ran smooth.
Global Agenda I was playing at 40 to 50fps (According to UE3's FPS Overlay and Gregion's) while reccording at 30.
Borderlands played at 24 to 30 recorded at 30.
So far what I tested I experienced minimal slowdown.

Normally use Xfire since it does Sound, Full Screen and is Free but now switching to using this full time :D

More Soon with Gregion
I want to find whoever coded this thing and marry them. Recording software that works with -my- computer?

It's more likely than you think.

Even the -sound- works. 10/10 on this.
Tried it, it cause severe in-game lag while it's recording, even on low settings. Compare to Fraps, which doesn't lag at all.
Different across the board yeah. But you are comparing to freeware.

Another video with Gregion. with a more intensive game mode, more on screen.
Them Robots
Some dips at times. But overall, good speed and good quality. Recorded into 1280x1024.
Still am messing with the codecs looking for one that gives good performance and quality
So far Gregion high Quality works best for me, but file sizes are massive and can take awhile to convert.

Going to try the Xfire AVI codec later on, so I can use Xfire's AVI-MP4 converter. Works well, drops the 3GB source file into a more nicer 80-100mb file. Quality is still great. Only concern is if the sound issue with Xfire came with the codec in Gregion.

Going to take a swing at CoD (idTech), Source based and possibly SupCom2 as well. See how well those preform.

Thats a great alternative to Fraps, thanks :)
