I think alot more people would play this game if we made a disk image available for free download along with the mod file and the installer for FLMM along with it - install the game, install the mod manager, add the mod, apply the mod, and play without a CD.

Ummm, first off, it's illegal to use a disk image unless you own a copy of the game. We don't want to get slapped with copyright infringement.
Secondly, you can play the game without the CD so long as you have the mod activated, since FLMM has a built in CD crack.
Thirdly, I find that enough people are playing at the moment,:P!
I still think it would be cool to get more people playing...
Also, I don't think Microsoft is going to enter into a lawsuit, seeing as they shut down the multiplayer global server? Come on. How much do you honestly think it was costing them a month? Not near the price of a private attorney and company, not to mention for a billion-dollar corporation. We can steal as much as we want.
hm, personally, I feel, probably like Unselie said many time,
we have too many players. More exactly; we have too many non-rp players, and we are on a rp server funnily.
What we need is more rp players.
and releasing the game freely... not sure its going to change alot.
The game is very easy to find on any p2p software.
I mean actively promoting the mod to RP-esque types of players.

The CD thing is illegal and cannot be done.
On the RP point I keep saying, Do not moan about the number of non RP players, its up to us to show them how to RP. Im sure 80 per cent of them would like to get involved. If any of the new players did visit the forums they would, by looking at some posts, feel unwelcome.
