Discovery Gaming Community

To make it short, I chat with some Players in discovery.
My Question was: What Gunboats can Freelancer use, result:

-Bottlenose
-Trident
-Ahoudori
-Border World ships

In space, I have met many players who said I should not use the ship I fly up to date (Bottlenose - Freelancer ID and IFF green to Bounty Hunter).

When I got in demand again if they are sure, no one was completely safe.

This whole technology jargon seems to be relatively opaque.

It is no reproach. As a new player to meet so many rules and if you're here reading through the forum many a obsolete, or is somewhere where I can not find it.
I also asked around online already, but everyone says something different.
Now I'm at the end of my wisdom. I read more rules than I play. ^ ^

For a clear statement I would be very grateful.

My opinion is the following:

An Outcast. Corsair etc. .. can use all ship and weapons of groups allied or friendly (green).
A freelancer can use all the weapons and boats from Faczions which it is friendly (green). He is allied with the freelancers who have no own faction ships and Weapons.
It is not allowed to combine Settings from hostile groups, like Corsair Ship and Outcast Weapons.
You need Permission to use not allowed Combinations and Ships/Weapons.

Correct me if i was false.


SUGGESTION


A Thread would be nice, an easy to understand Guide List all Factions and allowed Equipment/Ships.
If I can help somehow, I ask my help. For tedious paperwork for example. ^ ^

There is a technology chart. Use it.

Here it is.

Check what color cells,
And you'll know if you have to request one on the forum yes or no,

However,
Your own reputation of your character doesn't mean you can fly anything that your are green too.
It really depends on which faction you are with.

So just check the charts see if its
White = You can request it by contacting the faction concerning the equipment in RP
Red = No need for even trying to get this equipment
Pink = May use guns freely, ships are treated as white cells.
Green = May be freely used

If you want a gunship as a freelancer
the Kusari explorer is your best bet.

That's not how it works.
Your ID needs to be green to the tech/ship you want to use on the Tech Chart.
