I play in two of the biggest lol places: Liberty and Omi Minor.
While I do found lolwuts, I ignore them and focus on those to RP with. Hell, I even had fun when SOMEONE (I know who you are Gurlswille) trolled me inrp. Was fun.
Your not trying hard enough. We need good,RP'rs in such systems to promote better roleplay.
And I say we make a Disneyland system. We need one.

Well when a battlecruiser is blowing up my liner or transport, its kinda hard to RP. About all I can do is scream bloody murder (which ends up getting the "lol" response).
I gotta agree with you personally and i've just made a Indie Faction just to kill all the LNS nubs in NY that pull out Cruisers/DN's against small Pirate Craft
We call ourselves the {Undead}- Pretty much a Liberty Rouge Anti-Capital Ship Group of Liberty and is attempting to use force to push people back into using Light Fighters and Very Heavy Fighters for real RP and a decent fight.
So until the Libertonians withdraw there huge amount of Capital Ship use in Primary sectors and not Boarder worlds protecting there country just note you are now liable to be shot down son & if you lolwhat at us for ripping the LNS down with big guns then I advise you get into a Fighter that we cannot touch.
If they want a PVP server, there going to get one. You all know Raging.Dragon (Charos) the too cool for school Scylla Fighter he's in it too, PM for Recruitment we accept all whome will crush the might of the Libertonian Capital Ship.

The pirates who think it's their job to shoot navy are fueling the LNS-lolspam
Then again most people who have a LNS ship have these to revenge pirates when they shot their transport.
I'm talking about those that aren't the really 'experienced' players.
I find all the people who use their pirates to blast navies quite hilarious.
it makes no sense 'in-rp' although I'm not saying it can't be fun.
but when you actually manage to die again the LNS-unexperiancedplayer he will think it's awesome and just shoot back again and again with every pirate. Killing him however makes them 'mostly' mad and they will re-try to gain victory.
all I'd say is to leave the LNS's a bit alone, let them sit at the lanes and get yourself away from them.
I spend a lot of time in Liberty. And I haven't had -that- much issues with them.
Just evade try to evade the 'wrong' people, they'll get bored eventually.
On an other note:
if you show the newer players how to roll play even though some really aren't that good at English some will,
do their best to actually do their little roll right.
I saw this guy 'Qew' little navy pilot, not very good at English.
he was the 'DROP ILLEGAL GOOD NOAW' kinda guy.
But we with like 4 other people were RP'ing with him and he got really confused and all.
But in later encounters he actually tried to find more about the 'illegal' good before actually going over into shooting people.
So giving people a 'good' example of how's done.

Well, you can always ForumLancer RP - write stories, post in the Comm Board, post in watering holes, etc. Theres always something to do.
Second - Pick and choose who you RP with, not who your talking to, but who your talking as - if your running a trader, you wont get much RP other then a quick howdy from a passing trader, or a quick demand from a pirate. You have to sit back and actually carry on a conversation, and as a trader, sitting still means no profit. My suggestion, if you have some pvp skill, make a VHF and convoy escort for people - offer it for free, just for the rp, and if they donate money to you for being awesome, then thats a plus. this way you get to rp convo's of setting up deals, rp while your waiting for someone who needs you, and you get to chat with the said trader during the run.
As well, Liberty isnt as bad as people say - yes, its horrible and full of lolwhuts, but ive had good RP there. Manhattan is pretty much the center of Sirius in all ways - I've seen every faction there at one point or another, even Gallic factions. And, while the rule of thumb is usually stay out of liberty if you can help it, i still see a lot of good rp'ers pass through there or try to rp there.
Dont wander into Alpha unless you want an outcast gank. dont go into Minor because even Collister said no one is allowed unless with permission.
Not all factions are pvp based, but its pretty easy to tell which ones are and aren't. depending on the faction, you may get good rp or little - if you feel up to the skill, try out some nomad morph RP - because everyone always pays attention when they see a nom on their scanners, and not everyone will start shooting if what your interested in is talking (but you still will get shot at, its unavoidable).
otherwise, sit in manhattan orbit, at peak server usage time, and i'll bet you a million credits you will have a good rp with someone.

The Undead won't just be an Anti-Capital faction as most of you think it will be no. We are and will take down transports and shut down parts of Liberty for Tax's. If LNS Show up, Bang they go.
Thing is, LNS and LN are very different, a LNS is a Naval Ship if a [LN] turn up they might actually organize themselves... Just like we are.. Snubs and Heavy Craft.. Its a pirate faction for the win a very organized Criminal Facility for most warhammer heads and taxers.
