So an id for a Barge. can and may it be an smugler id or Reseacher id?
i am planing for a barge for some time now, and still gathering dat5a about it.
for now i anwondering what id i can use with it.
i hope a smugler or Researcher id but somehow i have the feeling it cant be done with those id,s

As far as I know it, ANY ID (even Nomnom and Pirrrat) can have the Barge:D
Unless they changed that, so check the Techchart;)
Realy ?? all even the generic id,s like the freelancer id with a cargo restriction of 3800 cargohold?
The Barge is listed as Green Cell to *every* ID in the game.
However, it is more in-RP to pick a Corporate ID than a Smuggler or Researcher ID - in my opinion.
yeah but the smugler id or researcher id have the best neutral rep to start with...

For blatantly obvious reasons, smuggling in a ship the size of a planet is a terrible idea.
Just use the freelancer id. It has no rephacks and doesn't have the limitations of the researcher id or the stigma of the smuggler id.
civ and recruit id cant use barge

One guy does it. Cant remember which Barge - either Speed.of.Hetzer or Beyond.The.Jumphole.
Couldn't tell you how successful he is though *shrug*
