I was playing freelancer today, and all of a sudden it disconnected and when I tried to get back on, it said I was banned. I can't recall anything nasty that I should have done, however last night a massive lightning storm hit, and my internet went down, so I have been playing the SP campaing for an hour or two and modified the goods.ini file so I could get tonnes of cash.
After I got bored of that, I deleted the goods.ini and replaced it with a backup of the original one, and today I got online through tethering on my phone and have been playing for 1-2 hours before getting kicked off. I wonder if any of those things can have anything to do with the ban?
There is nothing in the player sanctions section about any of my characters.
