Alright, so I have this disc image of some older Mac System installers and utilities sitting on my XP machine. I haven't turned it on in a while, so I fired up MS Security Essentials and did a quick scan to get it to stop complaining about not having scanned in a while.
During the scan, it flags the little shutdown app that sits in the Apple Menu Items folder under System 7.5-7.5.5 (Maybe under 7.6 and 7.6.1 also, I haven't worked with those enough to know.)
Sure, it could be infected with one of those now ridiculously rare classic Mac viruses, but seriously?
It did get me wondering, what is the weirdest False Positive you've ever encountered?
