Yeah, the speed mod is a problem. Just make sure you don't use it anymore, obey the rules, and read the above links.;)

i wonder what happens if someone speed mods, but reduces the speed from 350 to 1m/s?
(reverse speed modding)

Man, i'm so bummed i can't play:( At least if/when i can i'll be a lot more clued up. I think the thing that's bugging me most is that my friend can carry on playing while i just sit and wait:/
