It'd be way better arranged if threads like the tech request threads (the big ones by the factions themselves) would be put in the subforums of the respective factions. Same goes for some other bigger faction threads.
Because the Commforum is way to crowded in my opinion, everything goes there.
Though the Techrequest stuff could also be put into the Sirius Commerce forum.
What do I want?
Less stuff in the Comm Forum, more stuff sorted in the right subforums.
Please don't just throw everything in there...
The faction areas are specifically for faction information. It's not a good thing when it gets cluttered up with threads not directly related to the faction.
On the other hand, the communications area is designed to contain anything that's a communication from one group to another. Seems sensible that requests and such should go in there.
A centralised tech-request channel in every faction subsection could help.
I would also appreciate the comm channel to be less clogged with posts. =)
I enjoy the clog in the comms channel. It's a useful reminder sometimes that Disco really is alive and well.

I'm most certainly not talking about individuals requesting weapons in the Comm Channel, who each create a thread, I'm rather talking about that there should be centralised threads about those requests.
There are also some other threads which shouldn't be in the Comm Channel forum. I just think it's too crowded.

Faction sections are not meant to be hugely cluttered messes, but clean and easy to navigate, in order to find relevant information concerning the faction. These subforums were made to replace the Faction Status Thread, which had gotten too large and out of control.
