Discovery 4.79 Beta Release

Finally it's here! Long-awaited first Discovery 4.79 beta was released.

This beta has 79.1 exe version number. We will soon launch a beta testing server where you will be able to try out the new features. Importaint information about testing is available in Guidelines thread on forums and on similar wiki page:

Discovery 4.78 server will work as usual; this time testing server will be separate from our primary one.

Character database from primary 4.78 server will be transferred to beta server, but progress on beta server will not be saved. Each new character on beta will start with 500 million credits. When beta testing will be completed, 4.79 will be installed on our primary server without player wipe, so all your 4.78 characters will remain.

Re-buying Greyhound is not essential but highly recommended.

- 5 new systems:
Newcastle (Bretonia)
Munich (Rheinland)
Omega-15 (Border Worlds)
Omega-47 and Omega-49 (Edge Worlds)
created by Angel, with bases, encounters and complete infocards.
- New bases in Liberty and Rheinland systems, created by Angel.
- New bases in Omicron Delta (Freeport 11) and Omicron Minor (Battleship Isis).
- Strafing up and down is now enabled. Players may assign keys for new strafe moves in Options menu.
- NPCs became tougher, especially higher-level ones; now they have better equipment and improved AI.
- New encounters included, featuring advanced fighters of Sirius houses.
- Added 20 new weapons, including Tizona del Cid turret, new capital ship weaponry.
- Battleships, destroyers, gunboats and liners can equip cruise disruptors.
- Ammo limit for all weapons increased from 50 to 70.
- Planet Toledo now has a mooring fixture.
- Turret views and cockpit views for capital ships improved.
- Agility stats for most new ships changed.
- Battleships have better power supplies, and their weapons consume more power.
- Marsflyer has stronger hull, but comes with slightly less powerful weaponry.
- Liner and Prison Ship can carry more cargo than before.
- All mines deal better damage.
- Omicron Delta is no longer directly connected to Alaska.
- Alaska jumpgate moved to initial position for singleplayer missions integrity.
- New York internal jumphole moved to initial position for the same reason.
- Many balance-related changes for new weapons, equipment and ships.
- Many bugs fixed (weapons that caused heavy lag, Liberty Gunboat 7th gun, more).

I like to play some of the early versions of this great Mod.
My files only go back to the 4.80 version.
Does anybody have the zip files for the earlier versions.
Anything from 4.79 and backwards.
If you do, I would be grateful if you could put them up on a file share site for me and other older player to access.
The earlier versions have a raw and rugged game play with much harder NPC.

There are old files in the downloads section here but I haven't found a way to search on it yet beyond selecting the letter D which still gives you 17 pages.

all except 4.75 and 4.79
but i can live with that.
