Das Wilde
Communicatory Prefix (Known solely from fragments recovered from raid of Wilde infested array); Wilde.Name
IFF Core and Coding (Known from dissections of captured Wilde ships and reports with combat with said ships); The Wild
Das Wilde is the Rheinland term, translating to The Wild in both Bretonian and Libertonian English, for the remnants of the Nomad infested Rheinland Military from the Nomad War. While other remnants of Nomad infested military and other high ranking personnel exist in other houses, such as on the KNF Nagasaki and within the planetoid of Heavens Gate base in the Tohoku system, these infested elements are not generally referred to by the usage of the term.

A rare glimpse of a Wilde assassin known only as Fredrick, who had infiltrated the ranks of the Kirche die Grunnen Alders (Church of the Green Eagle, the Rheinland state religion which mandates worship of the God-Chancellor) in St Ulrichs Hardcopy Dataarchive after a long Bureau der Marineintelligence (Rheinlands military secret service, which is mandated by the Chancellor the responsibility of responding to threats from the Wilde, among many other things) investigation into Wilde infestation within the civil sections of the Rheinland government

Das Wilde, on the surface, appear like ordinary men, much like any other human possessed by a Nomad. However, underneath their thin veneer of flesh and sinister uniform, they are cold blooded defenders of Sirius for the Dom Kavash and for their brothers and superiors in the Omicron systems. Many of them are particularily effected bodily due to long term Nomad habitation, giving them an unearthly effect and almost ethereal appearance.

Two Das Wilde agents posing as plainclothes Bureau der Marineintelligence agents accost Bretonian salesman Richard Winston Tobias in his shop (recovered from security cam footage used in the documentary Freelancer: The Story of Edison Trent)

Wilde are capable of speaking and acting as far as their human vocal cords allow, limited also by genetic accent and physiology. However, they are capable of fluently speaking all human languages due to extensive knowledge of such languages in the Nomad psychic collective. The Wilde do not possess a primary language, due to being part of the overall Nomad collective, needing only to transmit pure feelings not filtered through the refinery of knowledge, but through the advanced understanding of human psychology the Nomads possess, which has allowed them to masterfully manipulate numerous figures into doing their bidding.

A Das Wilde agent known only as Blix communicates with the Nomad collective mind using an ancient Damm K'vosh artifact, transmitting intelligence on Freelancer Edison Trent. Recovered from security cam footage. Mr Blix dissapeared from New Berlin in a mysterious accident and was never seen again

Wilde typically dress in tattered Rheinland military garb, though Nomads do not possess the human concepts of fashion or modesty, and thus this is purely to maintain the illusion of humanity and for the protection of the frail human host from radiation and attack. However, a small number of Wilde agents were more amiable in giving up their humanity to a Nomad, and thus tend to coexist better with their controller. Mainly, these agents are somewhere in between the level of regular infestees and full blown hybrids, and are primarily fanatical Rheinland nationalists or, ironically, pacifists.

A communications fragment recovered from the neural net of a Wilde infested array in Frankfurt. It appears to be a shadowy image of a Wilde leader (as Das Wilde do not possess actual rankings beyond positions of senior psychic control and maturity), possibly an individual appointed to oversee the psychic and strategic sector of the Wilde.

Wilde do not speak with humans directly, for obvious reasons. They typically communicate as mysterious shadowy figures or infiltrate criminal organizations such as the Red Hessians or Bundschuh in order to do dealings with others under this guise. It is known that at least one time after the Wilde war, dealings were made to purchase stock ALG shipping division for unknown reasons, possibly for those of biological warfare. Wilde are capable of expertly hacking computer systems at a level unparalleled even by Lane Hackers, the overall origin of which is unknown. This allows them to create their own credits, making overall financial standing among humans merely a matter of plausibility and monetary value.

Deceased former Grosseadmiral and Wilde central node Ernst von Scheck (670-804, possessed 800) and aide and later defector to the Junkers Adolf van Buren. Taken from archived scenic footage at the Derbau rally of 798.

Das Wilde, after being unmasked in the early stages of the Nomad war, began to push more furiously towards Kusari in an all out war against mankind. Their forces were met with the full brunt of the uninfested elements of the Kusari Naval Forces, who barely managed to beat back their massive fleet from New Tokyo. Eventually, the Bundschuh and the uninfested Rheinland Military made a truce, and along with Order and uninfested Liberty forces lead an all out assault upon the Rheinland fleet. At the final battle in New Berlin, Wilde leader and former Grosseadmiral (Grand Admiral) Ernst von Scheck was killed and his flagship, the Fafnir, destroyed. All that remained of the Wilde fleet was about 40 fighters and a single noncombative gunboat, who escaped deep into inter house territory.

Das Wilde agent Blix's partner, Das Wilde agent Jonner, the more talkative of the two, speaks to Freelancer Edison Trent, offering him the duo's "services" in finding Order agent Herr von Clausen. Recovered from security cam footage. Like his partner, Jonner dissapeared in that same mysterious accident, never to be seen again.

Their fate is unknown. But silently, in shadow, the Wilde have spread to New Berlin like the terrible wrath of a Kusari deity. And even today, far, far below the deepest machinations of the darkest criminal groups, the Wilde still sit like the Norns of ancient mythology. Plotting. Twisting. Infesting.

WILDE SHIPS
72-ARKM-G27 Phantom
A small section of Das Wilde is comprised of former police officers who have been infested during joint Kriegsmarine-Polize operations which have involved Das Wilde. These pilots are more suited to the mechanisms of the Phantom fighter, and thus are alloted them. Some regular Wilde pilots also are alloted this fighter because of it's unique make and high speed, and less imposing appearance, allowing it to more easily blend into ordinary government traffic.
90-ARKM-N9 Valkyrie
The former primary ship of the Rheinland Military. Often used by Wilde patrols and heavily outfitted and modified with Nomad technology. Typically used in a cannon fodder role to swarm the enemy or for lightning fast raids.
90-ARKM-N45 Wrath
The current primary ship of the Rheinland Military. Typically used by more elite Wilde patrols due to its slightly higher rarity among Wilde accessible groups in a general role to combat snub ships and make patrols and raids.
140-ARKM-N58 Snubnose
The current primary bomber ship of the Rheinland Military. Used in the same fashion by the Wilde, utilizing Nomad torpedoes and stolen Rheinland technology to bombard in raids and in the very rare open battles between Wilde and Military forces.
Scorpion Gunboat
Only very recently seen, appears to be remotely operated rather than piloted directly. Shell and technology appears to bear a strange resemblance to a fragment of a classified document related to the Convoy 99 incident sealed within the now destroyed St Uters Hardcopy Datarchive. Appears to be operated by more matured specimens, suggesting a leadership node role over the smaller ships unless strategy necessitates the use of smaller ships or resources would be benefited by it. Not sighted in any known patrols, but suspected to have a patrolling role based on the overall coding of the ship and autopsies of said ships.
Rheinland Gunboat
Capital ship used for anti snub, interception and intelligence purposes by the Rheinland Military and Bureau der Marineintelligence. Very rarely seen among Das Wilde, and when seen, in a flagship role, presumably similarily to Class 2 Nomad Brains.
Rheinland Cruiser
Capital ship used for general purpose assault and headquarters purposes by the Rheinland Military. No confirmed sightings of a Wilde cruiser have been reported, but it is known that Das Wilde has made at least 2 attempts previously to acquire one, presumably to act as a mobile headquarters or flagship.
WILDE EQUIPMENT
From the small amount of autopsies performed upon Wilde vessels, a moderate amount of information has been gathered on Wilde equipment protocol.

Wilde Weaponry
Generally, Wilde ships follow a specific equipment algorithm for their weaponry. It is as follows;
50% Kriegsmarine or Polize Weaponry
50% Nomad Weaponry
Additional provisions are also made for Das Wilde ships to be able to mount up to 2 classified codenamed weapons. Typically, these are ones procured from old Rheinland wrecks and projects, such as the THOR'S HAMMER

Disguised Wilde Weaponry Protocol
Unlike their open brothers, disguised Wilde adopt the weaponry policies of their infested faction, with no use of Nomad weaponry to avoid exposure.
Wilde Shielding
Das Wilde ships have been known to use any of the 3 classes of shield, depending on availability, use, compatibility with internal energy systems and procurement cost.
The most widely used, however, are the ones procured from Kriegsmarine armouries, molecular shields in the Class 8-10 range.

Disguised Wilde Shielding Protocol
Disguised Wilde adopt the shielding policy of the faction they have infested.

Miscellaneous Wilde Equipment
Wilde have been able to procure large shipments of Universal Armour Upgrades from their various operations near Yanagi Depot in Freeport 11 and in the Saarfield. These are used freely amongst Wilde to boost combat ability in both snub and capital ships. Nomad Thrusters appear to be the only thruster Das Wilde allows the use of.

Disguised Wilde Equipment Protocol
Disguised Wilde adopt the equipment protocol of the faction they have infested

Disguised Wilde Diplomatic Policy
When in disguise, Das Wilde adopt the diplomatic policy of the infested faction, with the added bonus of non-hostility to their parent organization.
RECRUITMENT POLICY
Das Wilde is an invite only faction. This means that you must specifically be invited by the Wilde factional leader (Praetyre) or Keeper factional leader (Treewyrm) in order to be able to join. You are welcome at any time to ask Praetyre if you wish to be invited, and your application will be extensively reviewed, pending a submission of;
A. A detailed biography of your Wilde character
B. The 1st chapter of your Wilde character's backstory

Notice: Yes, I am aware of the fact the Das Wilde ID is administrator issued. However, all factions nowadays have to be admin-approved anyway. I am also aware that there has been some controversial behaviour among the Keepers (which I am a member of, but do not endorse all of the activities of).

The disguised Wilde will be as Junkers, Bureau der Marineintelligence/Kirche die Grunnen Alders (this has been secured with the permission of Virus, and disguised Das Wilde, as not members of the actual Rheinland Military but merely parts of an intelligence agency or religious cult, will NOT POLICE Rheinland space as the Kriegsmarine do), Hessians, Unioners, Landwirtrectwegung, Bundschuh, Republican Shipping, ALG Waste Disposal, Kruger Minerals and Daumann Heavy Construction.

Das Wilde members will NEVER join (as their Das Wilde characters) any other player faction. Any Das Wilde member caught doing so will be permanently banned from the faction and reported to the administrators.

A 500 million deposit has already been made towards a faction creation request, received by Kane.
Very well presented.

A+
Patrick wrote it. Instant win.

Trust me, he wrote the BLS faction post, and the LPI one. Nice work on this one, too.

I vote yes.
Great. Two thumbs up.

My only concern is that there are no Outcasts in your diplomacy.
My guess is that they should be Hostile.
Yes, they shouldn't even be in Rheinland, but we all know they come anyway.
So it would be nice to put them somewhere.

Also, are SCRA going to be hostile as well?

Besides these minor things, it's perfect.
Really really good job.
A ++++++++++

perfecto

EDIT: And he made the LSF ranks:)
Question on the Invite policy....invitable by either you or Treewyrm? I understand that he leads keepers, and will play a role in your rp, but since he is not a member of the Wilde faction...Are you giving faction leader controls to someone outside of the faction? Why? If he is a member, and I did not see that...are you going to release the identities of the members of your faction, and if not, why not?
' Wrote:Also, are SCRA going to be hostile as well?

No, we luuuuuuuuurve alien posessed freaks.

Oh wait, no, we don't love anything. Back to Room 101 with you!

Joking aside, yeah, we'd be hostile. Very much so. One - they're Rheinland Military personnel... Two - they're aliens!
I will release the identities of factional members if they request it. Right now, I am considering revising a policy to make disclosure the norm and disguisement the contrary. Yuri's ability to do so is more in the form of recommendation, and a holdover from an earlier era where the faction was more directly connected to Keepers as a subfaction of sorts.

Also, I am the only member of the faction thus far who is also a Keepers member.

All "Foreign Factions" be they Coalition or Outcasts are Unfriendly. We will attack you, but at a lower priority, and won't pursue you except in 55 and 58.

Thank you all for your kind words. They are appreciated:)
Looks good to me, RP potential coming out the ears there.
I'm not at all clear about what exactly constitutes a "disguised Wilde". What does the Tag, ID, and callsign look like for one of these, and what activities will they be engaged in? Are they joining the faction in an NPC sense, or one of the affiliated clans as a spy? The general tilt of the "disguised" idea is not necessarily objectionable to me, I just don't know what it means in practical terms.
