Hi to all you flying maniacs.
It's been a while since I have played FL (nearly a year I think) and when I did play its was only for a couple of months (probably not even that, but was great fun) so after all of the busy busy things I was doing (relaxing really, but who's judging?) I wanted to come back. I have always loved FL and when I heard about Discovery and started to play on it's servers, it was the next best thing to FL2, if not better. The first time I played Discovery, I wasn't iRP, and just running around Sirius like a headless chicken running from a KFC.
So, knowing how dynamic Discovery is and that the 4.86 is being released bit by bit with more freelancer-drooling content, I came back.
First time I started I was a nooby, but when I left I was a pro...wait what?, oh yeah, I was still a damn noob. By noob I mean the only helpful thing I did was being an escort for the IMG, which I liked. As you can tell by my poor excuse of a signature. Assuming Jack Hendersen is still 'da boss' of IMG Ill get in contact with him to see if I can get my ol' job back.
Which brings me to the questions part of this bible-long post. First is, would I be able to get my char back?:nono: I doubt it but there's no harm in asking. Second is, tips on starting from scratch? I'm probably going to start with IMG again, either mine, transport or escort (<< easiest) since I like IMG the best.
And third of all which isn't really important (in fact, neither was the first one but never mind) which is, has the community changed since a year ago?, because I remember Discovery having a great community, helpful, interesting, and on rare occasions, outlandishly weird...but funny.
Oh and I do have 1 minor problem, and that is when I start FL, the screen resolution is 1024x700 (max), and since my resolution is 1366x768 (using my laptop) it's square and looks stupid, so anyone know a solution to this not-so-problematic-but-annoying issue?
Anyways, you guys can stop reading and breathe now so ill get started on playing Discovery. Any help, tips, and/or insults for the long boring post :rtfm:, is welcome so thank you and bye, adios, lebewohl, live long and prosper, and so on.
