I have a small thing i want to discuss.
Faction feedback & message dumps are not functioning like they used too.
And message dumps of factions seem to be gone completely.
Faction feedback is not easy enough to reach i think, should be easier accessible.
I really used to enjoy all the reports and pics of the fights around Sirius.
Since the changes on the forums they are almost completely gone!!
It's too bad :-(
Can you, the forum moderators make some changes so the faction feedback
and message dumps are back alive again??

Feedback threads are under the Faction Rules subforum. Message Dumps are in each faction's own subforum.

I disagree. Feedback threads are easy to find because they're all in one place:

So they haven't actually moved that much. The reason they're in the Faction Rules subforum is because feedback threads usually deal with complaints/disagreements/criticism, which needs to be moderated if the members involved don't stay level-headed. The "Kudos" thread is also an alternative place to provide positive feedback.
As far as Message Dumps are concerned, I find it extremely easy to have my faction's thread in the faction's own subforum, rather than having to dig through the RP forums if it hasn't been bumped recently.

I mean, when i used to view new posts i always could see a lot of messagedumps.
Not only from official factions, but also from indies (like liberty message dumps).
And now i hardly see any reports from players.
And the faction feedback are also poluted by recruitment topics.
It does not work this way, it was very alive and now it's pretty dead.
Thats my opninion and i think it is in line with the facts.
Opinion is opinion. My opinion is it is better the way it is now, than the old way. Easier to find the things I'm looking for. Are some of the message dumps inactive? Yep. That has nothing to do with the structure of the forums and everything to do with faction activity or inactivity. I'm not sure how the faction feedback is flooded with recruitment. Recruitment is done in the Faction Forums and Faction Feedback is done in the Faction Rules section. Two different sub forums on different forums.

But there has been a radical change in the amount of reports in message dumps.
So forum layout could very well have a big influence on it.
At least, thats what i think.
Forum layout makes it easier for people to find the message dumps they are looking for; even if the dump has been inactive for over a month as it isn't at the bottom of a 8 page long forum.
Message dumps are inactive for some or all of the reasons snak3 already stated.
Some factions don't see message dumps as necessary. Some players don't either.
