Depending on the jumping module you use, you will be jumped into the system 40-100k above the jump coordinates.

Sure it will take more time but.. now if someones waiting to ambush you or find your entry point thats impossible now.

Thats a good point. If anything this makes barge jumping safer, since people tend to share coordinates and pirates discover the location.

Lol, aslong as they know WHERE you are going, this has in no way made it "safer"...

Know how long it takes to fly a Barge 100k?
Hell I refuse to jump a barge when it has to fly 5k... Let alone 100k...

Depends really, if the same jumpdrive always puts you 40k above the plane, then to catch the barge you just move to the 40k above that the only drive that works for barges will always put them.
Pls elaborate Spazzy by your 40-100k depending on jumpdrive line.

No, but barge jumpers will be the ones hit the hardest. Thus the title.

Barge jumpers, who cares, the thing that's being hit is jumping into enemy fleet, now it's impossible. Damn it.

Yeah no more precision jumping.
I just jumped to co-ords that should be 10k above Gran Canaria and appeared 66k below it... xD
