Hallo allemaal,


Every time when I leave a station/planet I get this "Incompatible technology detected....." message.
My equipment:
- Freelancer ID
- ship: Avenger, bought in Virginia
- Vengeance Mark V (Class 9) 3x
- Magma Hammer Mark 5 (Claas 9) 2x
- Vengeance Mark % Turret (Claas 2)
- no mines, torpedo, disruptor.

Why is my output shorted ???

Freelancer ID's and Navy tech do not go perfectly together. So, you get a technerf until you change the ID to Navy or change the ship and guns.

I had the same problem. I also have a Freelancer ID.
I had guns mounted that belonged to a House, and replaced them with civilian guns; that corrected the problem. Your ID determines what ship and equipment you can use (in my experience).

Thank you for your very quick answers! I see the problem, but at the moment I don't feel I like to join the Navy. I think I have to look for a ship that fits the Freelancer ID.

Want some tips about Freelancer ship without nerf ?

If you short on cash : Eagle with Purple Goddess, Debs and standard equipment
If you had enough cash for style : Virage with 600m/s Codies, Debs and standard equipment
If you want people to know if you are rich : Raven's Talon with either Rags or Goldy, Debs, Cheetah Thruster and BS Scanner

The lane hacker site for the compatibility chart can be outdated at times.

The table spreadsheet is always up to date since it draws from the server and tells you what cells are what
