if you start engagement, say you don't engage now, and docked while player is still attacking you within range, does it count PvP death?
You (The OC Bomber) and the Rogue Scylla engaged me at the Fort Bush - Manhatten lane, I returned fire, you ran away when the =LSF= guy came and I chased you to Rochester. You docked while I was 5k behind you.
That encounter wasn't over yet and you docked in sight -> dead.
Huh, normally NPCs say bugging out, and cruise, Then they dock.
NPCs dont dock to flee from combat, they just cruise.

You shouldn't compare NPC's with the server rules and its players.

A engagement starts officially when someones shield is drained to 50%, if you dock within range of the attacker or defender you're considered pvp-dead. Even when you said you're disengaging.

If you do not want to end up pvp-dead you'll have to make sure you get out of range of the enemy and then you're free to dock.
Yes
does this count as trial by forum? INB4 lock.

if you can see them on your scanners - they can see you.

if they can see you when you dock - PVP death.

if you have a PVP death - bubye for four hours.
