Samura Heavy Industries and Cryer Pharmaceuticals have recently agreed upon a new contract, which spokesmen say will bring significant wealth to each. After the official signing earlier this afternoon, it was revealed that the following agreements were made:

Cryer agrees to the following:
•Allowing all Samura| tagged vessels to land at their stations, by passing the normal security and going to a non-disclosed background check policy.
•To purchase Hydrocarbons and Polymers for use on Planet Denver exclusively from Samura at near-cost.
•To purchase Alien Organisms exclusively from Samura for use at Atka Research Station.
•To turn over any Kusari criminal captured to the closest Kusari jurisdiction.

Samura agrees to the following:
•Allowing all Cryer| vessels to land at their holdings with the same security precautions as above.
•To purchase Pharmaceuticals exclusively from Cryer.
•To treat Planet Kurile as a tariff-free zone for Cryer Pharmaceuticals and its business partners.
•To turn over any cardamine-addicted criminal to Cryer Pharmaceuticals in an attempt to cure them of their habit.

Both agree to the following:
•To work toward making Sigma-17 an entirely tariff-free trade zone for both corporations.
•To begin an initiative to further research applications for Alien Organisms.
•To establish a committee to deal with the increase of piracy in Sigma-17.

"Today marks the start of an even greater relationship between our two corporations," Mr Kiyoshi Sato of Samura Heavy Industries said.

"We feel this deal will solidify our position together in the Sigma 17 system and allow us both to thrive and grow in a better environment, and hope our relationship will continue to improve," Mr Timothy Cryer was said.

"A deal like this can only bring success for everyone involved," Mr Hitoshi Fujiyama of Samura was heard as saying.

"I'm certainly looking forward to the future venture in researching these fascinating organisms," Dr Andrew Fredericks, a researcher with Cryer Pharmaceuticals, stated to the press.

Samura Heavy Industries and the Sirius Science Council has publicly announced today that they have signed an agreement affirming their status as business partners.

Analysts are going over the document currently to ascertain what this means for Kusari and Sirius as a whole.


This agreement is a contract to ratify the partnership of all corporations named herein and is a legally binding contract as recognised by the Republic of Kusari.

This contract affects all corporations mentioned and agreed upon by the following.

* Samura Heavy Industries - hereafter referred to as Samura
* The Sirius Science Council - hereafter referred to as the SSC


The following terms apply to all mentioned parties affected by this agreement and are listed as follows.

* Samura is the sole decider on locations chosen for any and all construction sites as well as all research activities carried out within Kusari.
* The SSC will contract Samura to provide any and all construction and manufacturing needs that may arise in Kusari as a result of the facilities or research of the SSC.
* SSC agrees to allow a team of safety inspectors unrestricted access to all facilities and assets within Kusari to ensure the safety of Kusari and Samura interests at any time of Samura’s choosing.
* The SSC agrees to keep Samura informed about any and all research carried out within Kusari or results that are used within Kusari at all times.
* Samura will assist the SSC with all research activities to promote the growth of the SSC as long as it does not hinder Kusari or Samura interests.
* SSC agrees to provide the initial outlay of Industrial Materials in the amount of fifty thousand units to planet Junyo to be used in the construction of the Poseidon Project.
* All new employment positions within the Sirius Science Council, Kusari division, will first be attempted to be fulfilled by Local Kusari citizens before being outsourced to citizens or residents from other locations.
* At minimum, a monthly report is to be submitted to Samura detailing any and all work and research that has been carried out by the SSC within or concerning Kusari.
* Samura agrees to provide the SSC with a private communications channel for the purpose of easing communications between the Sirius Science Council and Samura, Samura furthermore agrees to maintain all responsibility in maintaining this channel in a condition fit for proper use as defined by these conditions.
* SSC and Samura will agree to use it’s trade vessels to the benefit of the other, in regards to shipping and moving any products needed by the other, provided such service does not break any governing laws and provides fair profit to allow productive corporate operations.
* SSC agrees to assist Samura in partnership with any party of Samura’s choosing in the field of research provided such research falls within governing laws and provides fair profit to allow productive corporate operations.
* Samura and SSC agree to share all research in the area of marine archologies for the benefit of both corporations.
