I like the in-game activity of the faction. The paperwork and activity on forums is also good. You really deserve to be official. However, you have one tiny problem, which I would personally appreciate if you'd correct in some form: YOU ARE TOO DAMN RICH! You fly large 4000+ cargo transports and you don't care if you get pirated. You make it look like losing 5 mil is nothing, as if you go to the rest room with 5 mil to use as toilet paper.

Seriously, I had this case today: Stopped the Aurich (or something similarly sounding), dropped a few lines of pirate RP, finally demanded some cash and just before I began making threats about what would happen if that demand was not fulfilled, I saw the green message. It was so fast that it seemed like he had a /setgivecash command ready and he was just waiting for me to call the number.

I think he wrote a single line of RP, which wasn't even speech. Although pleased with of the outcome, I was not satisfied with the way it happened. I felt like a space beggar with guns.

I suggest you start talking to people and especially the ones pirating you (attempt to talk the pirate out of it, drop the price, plead for mercy, etc.) Also, you might want to hire some escorts or form an escort wing, so it would look more like you are protecting your dangerous chemical waste and not like you are cruising in your brand new Ferrari.

That's pretty much it, hope to see even more of you out there

I usually do care if I personally get pirated. As in, caring I don't get blown up with a full hold of toxic waste which would pollute space even more.

Here's the kicker though, Aurich USED to be a member of [ALG] (note, bracket open ALG bracket close), as far as I know the person piloting the ALG ship named Aurich is leading the ALG group |ALG| (note, vertical dash ALG vertical dash). It's all very confusing sometimes for people, but he's not part of our group.

About hiring escorts, whenever and wherever I can I hire escorts. I usually ask passing by Hunters, freelancers, mercenaries sometimes, IMG defense pilots if they care to make some dough. And I always pay good. I've instructed pilots of [ALG] also to pay well with escorts, to promote cross-over RP and people getting to escort more having a diversity on RP and gameplay/enjoyment.

I am sorry for the misunderstanding then. But I still mean those first lines, I see more of [ALG] than ever before and you, in my eyes, are doing way better than most official trade factions, in terms of activity.

I think what you observed is not a rule, more like exception. Me, i always look to make the pirate go away with nothing, preferably damaged. During last month, i have seen a bomber flying away from me with barely 5% hull left, a freighter flying away from me with about 30% hull left, a pirate chasing me to the edge of the system and unable to catch me, another freighter unable to seriously damage me while i thrusted some 35k to nearest dockable something, and some 5 or 6 less spectacular cases when pirates didn't get a penny from me and i got away. And once, i was blown up - because the pirate i decided to resist had a fellow not so far away, who dropped in soon after guns went ablaze, SNAC heavy, and i had my thruster destroyed at some point which doomed me for real.

This is not in any way to brag, but just to give examples how hard [ALG] transports can be. At least, some of us, that is.

I do not know were to begin to express my disappointment.

After i find out who was piloting the [ALG]-Epsilon.B Waran Bomber i am even more disappointed. Cause i find out it is leader of an [ALG] official faction.
After extensive role play in space and nice interaction pilot of this ship opened fire on me with no engagement notice nothing only surprise attack to snack me soon as possible and i was not a pirate or some other unlawful.
I was a RFP| official faction player doing my duty in RP and asking fore some interaction and role play between us and what i got yesterday is a snack in my face from a leader of this faction.
I would expect that from an indie player assuming he might be a new guy in the server who don't know the rules or some typical lol Hessian who is unlawful and hostile to my faction to do such a thing.
But i never expected something like this from an official faction player and not just only player but the leader itself. leader of the faction which is not hostile to RFP| but rather allied with which means ALG ID is prohibiting him to open fire on rheinland police character if it's not in self defense. Also the leader of this faction is someone who plays on this server for years who is here in this community long enough to understand the rules and normal behavior.

And I'm afraid [ALG] leader is also here long enough to know how to try to bend the rules in to his own favor. Stating that my intentions to take him in to custody are same as Pirate asking money from the trader so the trader has right for a *preemptive defense* even if pirate never opened fire on him.

First of all I am not a pirate which is normally hostile to you but a policemen which is allied to you.
Second a trader has no right to shoot not even a pirate if the pirate did not opened fire on his ship lowering his shield down to 50%.
And third You have no right to insta kill a faction player with no engagement notice who is allied to [ALG] and who was not firing at you at all in the first place.

So is this the way how member of an official faction should behave and do things like this ?
Is this the way how leader of an official faction should behave aswell giving nice example to his own members ?
Is this a good example coming from official faction leader for some new people on the server how to behave aswell ?

Let's start from beginning than.
I stopped the IMG convoy escorted by the ALG bomber for a contraband scan which i usually do and which i did i scanned them checked there was nothing wrong soon after IMG was cleared to fly away but i wanted to hold UC ship for further questioning i wanted to RP with the guy a little more since it's the first time i as an RFP encountering Union Course in Rheinland.
ALG bomber was there all the time moment i started questioning UC ship he said he is Magdalena Atzenbruck president of ALG and not to make this difficult or he will get my buy for this and trying to make problems were there are none.
That i am detaining them for no reason and that he is deciding what lawful reason is for detaining someone just because he or she have a sit in Bundestag.

i clearly stated several times i am only doing my job so i toke that as a threat and obstruction of me doing my duty cause who ever he or she was he has no right to decided what my duties as a police officer are or not in RP.
I also asked UC ship how long do they stay in rheinland and their time of departure were ALG ship said i have no rights to ask him for such an information.
Excuse me but as an officer i do have every right to question people of their business their intentions connections time of departures and etc.... in Rheinland.
Than the ALG accused me of incompetence and interrogating people even if they did not do anything wrong.
They don't need to do anything wrong to be questioned by the police security is part of our job and questioning and interrogating foreign ships is part of our job.
For all this i issued a fine for him of 500.000 credits for obstructing RFP officer in conducting his duty and denying rights to interrogate new people in Rheinland about their business, business partners and etc... just because he or she stating he is president of ALG.
He ofcourse refused to pay the fine several times i threaten with arresting him if he refuses than i altabed the game to recheck few things in the laws of rheinland when i raised game again i was dead snacked by the very same ALG character.
And the last his sentence before he snacked me was not an engagement notice but a question:

Am i going to haul him in to the prison in escape pod for saying some things i dont like ?

And than Booom !


For him clearly was not important that i did not opened fire on him, he just insta killed me with out engagement notice.
Plus he was an allied faction with RFP clearly breaking his ID and rules of engagement.
But hey what i'm doing here anyway he is leader of the faction hardly you can change his way of behavior but i'm sure there are others who can.
