I've seen people in bombers wildly spraying their cannons in order to increase their refute rate and to be able to have a better chance of hitting their target.
What is this called and how do you do it?

Chainfire. Me for example - I set "shoot weapon 1-4" on keys 5-8, while still having weapon groups on 1-4.
