I'm looking for new and interesting ideas for my Casino Ship, "Bellagio.Casino".

Does gambling interest you?
The games currently offered are as follows:

DICE: -- A simple dice game. Place a wager, ranging from 10,000 to 1,000,000 credits. Choose a number 1 - thru - 6. The Dealer rolls the dice. If your choice corresponds to the number rolled by the dealer, you WIN!

Payouts are 4 times your money. So a bet of 1,000,000 credits will pay 4,000,000 credits.

Blackjack/21[High Stakes Only]: -- Place a wager, 1 million credits to 10 million credits [bet limits subject to change] The Dealer (rolls an 11 sided dice to use in-game function) shows first card, 1 - thru - 11, with 1 and 11 both representing an Ace. This is what the "Dealer is showing." The player is then dealt two cards (using the same method). The player then has the option of hitting (taking another card) or staying. If you go over 21, you bust and the house wins. If you choose to stay (at any value 21 or over), the dealer then deals himself the last card. Dealer stands on hard 17 (or over), Dealer --MUST-- Hit Soft 17. Soft refers to whether one of the first two cards is a "1" or "11" (dice roll), representing an Ace in the Dealer's hand.

Payouts: 2 times the wager paid on all hands where dealer busts or the player scores higher than the dealer without busting. "Blackjack" pays 2.5 - to - 1.
Ex: Wager is 1 million, a standard winner pays 2 million and a blackjack pays 2.5 million.

BLACKJACK EXAMPLE:
An example: Dealer (rolls) shows a 10. The player is dealt a "1" or "11" (Ace) and also dealt a "10" (face card).

SOFT 17 EXAMPLE:
Dealer (rolls) is dealt an Ace showing, then dealt an 6 (total of hard 7 or soft 17) Dealer MUST take another card.

No Insurance is offered for any Blackjack. Splitting is not allowed. Debating on whether to offer double down or not.

What other games would you like to see offered?
Would you like to place wagers on Race or other events? Such as PvP matches?

What RP events would you like to see? What factions could be involved in said events?

Just trying to expand on some new ideas and to bring back the old casino ships. ANY INPUT IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!
I suppose it'd be difficult to incorporate any of the great live entertainment we get in real casinos today, or the provocatively dressed drink ladies ... Smile
Cool idea. I like it!
I can see many different ways you can do this. Skype channel, in game some place, Forums?
All the services currently offered are in game. But there are plenty of scantily-clad women!
I think you're complicating things too much.

The games need to be simpler and easier to understand.
What do you suggest SMG?

He suggests nothing - that's not his style. He'll complain about everything that you do and argue against it, but he won't actually come up with a constructive alternative.

Obviously doing blackjack or dice would be appropriate. You could also come up with a roulette wheel of some kind, where the players involved bet upon red/black (even/odd) and by taking the 0 and 00 off the board, reduce the odds somewhat. Just use a random number generator for that.

Wasn't there a card generator available also? Then you could play the table game no limit hold-em, since the player cards wouldn't matter. (It's played against the house, not each other.)

Excuse me for noticing a problem and saying something about it. Apparently you can't call it how you see it anymore, without volunteering to fix the other person's problem (surprise! We got problems of our own).

Agmen, I believe you and I share very similar political views, so you probably agree that the government is being ran worse than a kindergarten for the most part. Well, if I can't see a problem and say something about it without coming up with a complete plan to fix it, then you can't be saying anything about how much of a failure the American government is without coming up with a plan to fix that. And no, I don't mean by voting more competent people in, that's not a plan to fix the problem, that's only passing the problem to another guy in hope that he will do better.

As for the games, I've ran a gambling/casino ship a few times, and I've always kept it very simple. Such as Blackjack, it's as simple as "we have a maximum of 5 rolls (a normal roll resulting in 1-6), the goal is to get to a score of 18 without going over, you may stop rolling and keep your current score whenever you feel like, person with the highest score to 18 without going over wins, payout is 2 to 1".

The simpler the better.
Wait, there's a card function?
I'm pretty sure there's only /dice and /coin. I'm not real sure how a /card function would work.
