I'm legitimately curious why so many people seem to have a problem with The Judges, so please post your problems and concerns about us, maybe I can help sort them out. Please keep the trolling and "Just because" posts to yourselves, I'm actually looking for an intelligent discussion here. Also, if you do hold any bitterness toward us, try to keep it to a minimum in your posts. Getting angry over this is just ridiculous.
Apart from camping Newark, mostly sitting in Connecticut, and being overall dead weight to the server slots, I have nothing against them.
None. Or maybe the fact that things I do simply as part of my roleplay are viewed as hateful towards the faction.

I do feel that, as a faction aiming for officialness, doing more than just sitting on Newark - or in orbit of some other planet, more recently - would be more.. fitting.

Yes. I know you feel you're restricted by your ID, but there are so many things you can do without an ID that lets you shoot things more often. Diplomatic talks acted out ingame, patrolling to help civilians against "bad guys", etcetera.

I've noticed a small number of escorts given by your group. That's good. Keep it up.

A story your leader recently posted seemed to be about research. I didn't read all of it as I didn't have the time - I'll get to it sometime, though - but.. Research. You can roleplay that both ingame and on the forums as well. More things to do away from Newark, no?

Your Newark parking is still at "Farming faction activity by being semi-AFK" levels, however. If I were to do that on one of my official-faction-tagged ships, I'd be worried the faction activity wouldn't be counted because it looks an awful lot like AFKing*.

*) Ignoring those times Judges actually were away from keyboard, and got themselves blown up that way.
What spazzy said, also, you hang around all day in your TS³ channel and always tell others players when they try to communicate with you, that you're busy.
So yeah, why don't make your own Judges server? People won't disturb you there and you could add the capital ships you wanted.

Lets break this one down. Camping Newark, yeah I know we sit on it too much, but we do talk to people. Quite a lot of people, actually. Friendly banter or the "Screw you!" shouts, most people enjoy talking to us there. The Conn thing is because our In-RP training got us yelled at, "Go to Conn for that!" being a more popular one. Dead weight is a matter of opinion, and its not like the old days where people were fighting tooth and nail to log onto the server.

Edit: inb4 "We do other things than park on Newark" in response to Sindroms. Yes, you do, but not quite as much as you *do* park.

Hasteric, I will admit you have good ideas that I will talk to the others about , and I'm honestly glad that your in-game hate doesn't bleed over here. The farming for hours thing isn't 100% accurate however, even though it seems that way to most. We chose Newark when we were a small group because it meant the newer players that didn't know about the restarts would see us and think "Hm....they look organized" and might join us. We do have plans to expand what we do in-game and are starting to implement them. Won't go into too much detail on that one just yet though, gotta keep some secrets.

SothaSil, the TS channel helps us organize our group better during flights, training, and works as an Emergency channel. I personally have never seen a Judge blow people off due to this and if I ever do, you can bet I'd squash it. We still talk in-game, and even started giving orders to our members in local chat during flights to expand our rp a bit and demonstrate what a tight-knit group we are. As for getting our own server, most of us are actually rp fanatics and enjoy this server.

Even ingame there's no hate. Just business.

I figured as much. Then again, don't you think you'd attract players just fine by doing.. "cool things" instead of parking on Newark, and making a name for yourself?

Plus, last time I mentioned new players in connection to the Judges, I was told you mostly had veteran players, and not that many new players, I think. What's the deal?
I don't really have a problem against them, but i just have a view about them beeing afk people. Im not that much in liberty and havent seen you guys much around lately so it didn't change my view at this time. But then again if you have fun playing it why not? the game its about fun and well gather some ideas like Hasteric meantioned indeed. It brings also more fun within the Judges as a faction.
Personally, I'd have said the condescending tones I often overhear or the general staff of authority Judges often wave in peoples' faces, which regularly is incorrect. Despite being present around judges a lot, I have never seen enough chatter or otherwise to have any idea of the roleplay background besides a group of people that either call themselves judges falsely, or forget that their role is in the courtroom. That's my experience anyhow.

While I'm here, that bit about trolling not being tolerated is accurate. Nor will be flippant aggression or insults directed at players. I know I don't need to remind anybody though :3
