Ive heard rumors that its being replaced, and if so can you please link me to the topic.
Because im wondering if it will be the biggest waste of money ever (besides that 895,000,000 armor upgrade) if i buy it then in the new version i have to sell it.

As I understand it, the replace will not mean you have to rebuy it, though I might be wrong. I believe you will merely find that your ship is different.
