Speaking of nomads - Tenacity - 10-03-2008

I'm thinking about starting up Nomad.Loki (my old indy nomad character) again, for a second try. It was a fun character to play, and I never really finished his story...

Back when I had the character before, he had no equipment... none, zip, zilch, nada, nothing. Just a thruster, a countermeasure dropper, and a shield.

This time around... I want to make him combat worthy. Right now, I'm thinking 3 shieldbusters and a mini razor - the problem is the shieldbusters. Corsairs dont much like nomads, but concerning the nature of the character... how many people would be against me using some tizonas?

I do not really like when i see nomads with factionalized wapons. I'd rather go for civilian line mysefl.

Huh, sounds interesting. He could always have blown the weapons off his victims. (if that's in his nature, haven't read the story yet.)

I'll read it tomorrow.

hmmm all nomad babies that i saw in past, (i think that were tiral characters before joining keeperS) have similar setup. 3 outcast guns and mini or cd or torpedo. i think it iwas because nomads and outcast are not so hostile as nomads with all other humans. so i think 3 tizonas will be really oorp.

Agreed, i would mount three krackens and a torp. NPC nomad fighters do not have CD's. But that's just what i have been told for it to be a *nomad* like load out for non keepers

Yup, gotta agree with Global. Krakens, rather than shield busters are the way to go. Teamed with a mini, it's a pretty effective combo.

Sound good , very nice. It was quite a suprice for me to see that it was you Tenacity.

I'd like to add that his role play in the nomad was not set up , like - Let me do this and you say that - it was perfectly within the lines of role play and .... the unknown. I myself just found out that he used that trasmission with me for his story.

Anyway , Krakens and Mini sound just about right. Also , I don't think that all SB and one Mini is good.Because most of the people here can pretty effectivly dodge the mini , so an alternative dmg dealer is needed.

well like i said, back when I had the character before, I didnt even use guns. I just figure it might be fun to blast someone now and then, even if i dont kill them =P

and yea, it frustrated me a bit when I wasnt accepted for the keepers after all of that, I thought I had damned good RP as a nomad too =/

3 nomad cannons or blasters win. Simple enough. It's not entirely Slomon K'hara, but it's not entirely human either.
