Ancient Wonders - Angel - 09-11-2006
Jose and Pedro, where coming back from there daily patrol, to there way to the bar, joking about there local engagements and other things. When they got there Bernard had allready grabbed a table, and gotten some drinks.
" Hey guys, how was patrol? " Night asked, as he poored a few Drinks. Jose and Pedro sat down and let out a deep sigh, " Man, how good it feals to be back home, there wan't much to say, a few Bounty Hunter patrols, but most of them fled, or where destroyed, what about you what you been doin all day? " Bernard smiled, " Ohh just relaxing taking it easy, ya know, normal stuff, hehe " he chuckled, and got a glare from Jose.
" Wheres Kristy at, shes been gone all day? "Bernard asked and was quickly anwsered by Miguel, who had shown up out of nowhere. He pulled out a chair, turned it around and sat down, " Shes out at the Hispania, last time I checked she was walking around inside with an E.V.A suit.

A powerful beam of light came around a Cryo-Tube Hallway, It shined up and down, and along the sides of the Corridor. Kristy had been wandering the halls and passages of the wreck now, and was excited and surprised around every bend.
There was so much history, so much Life to the grand ship, that there wern't words to discribe it. She skirted her hand along the bulkhead, looked in the empty Cryo Tubes, and the names and I.D numbers of each occupant that had been in there eight hundred years ago. There was a loose panel, she pulled it away revealing a blown circut board. Frayed wires and melted computer chips.
She looked on the back, there was writing, prushing awway at it with her glove she was able to see what it said. " Ablteton Construction Technologys, Flourence Italy, Earth, Copyright 2356 " She said to herself. She smiled, she was holding a little piece of Earth in her hands, a little piece, of home.
Putting the panel back in the bulkhead, she continued on, looking in each of the pods. She knew it was hear, thats what the roster had said, her ancestors had come on the Hispania, at least her fathers side. Continueing she came to one with a dust cover plate. Brushing it away, she smiled again, The Name plate Read, Alexander Pryde.
And next to hes was a Womans, Valensia Pryde, some of her familys first steps in Sirrus, happend right where she was standing. She in Spected Alexanders Tube, she noticed something glossy, it was stuck in a crack, a picture, facing where he would have been, something to look at, during there long voyage. She pulled it out, and fliped it over.

This must be, Valensia, she was beautiful, after a moment she place the photo in a pocket, when her radio came alive. " Hey, Kristy can you hear me? "............

Thats what a story should do, a write should try to bring out some emotion in the reader, one niffty trick ive noticed is to get the right music playing while reading the story, Thats why you see me put in some Audio files here and there.

The Hugys are designed off the sleeper ship design, though not to the size and grandur of the Originals. She's a one of a kind Ship, I'd love to have her just a museum.... but hey I'm a Sifi dork... :laugh:

I would love to have a sleeper ship aswell. That makes me wonder if they included a model somewhere in FL for a complete, un damaged sleeper ship...
